Features
Can accomodate up to 8 assorted detectors (all detector types).
A maximum of 8 individual user codes and 8 remote keyfobs can be installed to arm and disarm.
Optional Wireless Reciever:
The reciever enables you to use
Remote Keyfobs for arm/disarm/panic and Wireless Detectors, yes this
system can have both wired and wireless detectors.
Auto Arming: All Bosch alarm systems have the ability to auto arm at a preset time, this is an ideal feature for commercial applications.
(Eg: If the alarm system hasn't
been armed by 8pm it will automatically arm, if you happen to be
working late the alarm keypad will beep 15 minutes before auto arm to
warn you it is going to arm, to delay auto arming for another hour
simple enter your code and it will retry auto arm sequence again at
9pm).
The system has multiple arming modes, useful for a Residential setting, they are: Away Mode: Fully Armed (when leaving the premises, arm in Away Mode, all detectors throughout the home will arm awaiting an intrusion).Stay1 Mode: Primary Partial Arm (arms
all zones except preset zones eg: When going to bed, arm in stay1 mode,
all detectors throughout the home will arm except the Master Bedroom,
this zone will isolate at not detect you going to the bathroom during
the night).Stay2 Mode: Secondary Partial Arm (arms
all zones except 2nd set preset zones eg: Lets say you have guests
staying in your guest room, when going to bed, arm in Stay2 Mode, all
detectors throughout the home will arm except the Master Bedroom, Guest
Room & the PIR in the hallway to bathroom, these zone will isolate
at not detect you or your temporary visitors going to the bathroom
during the night).Disarm Mode: Alarm is disarmed.
ET-100?
You require the Surepoll ET-100 Ethernet Alarm Backup Module to access our IP/Ethernet Monitoring Plans.
Installation?
This Alarm Module is compatible with most new alarm systems, once
it's installed, it simply plugs into a spare port on your Internet
Router with a network cable and it's ready to go..
How does it work?
All alarm data is sent to us through the internet via an
encrypted private network called Surepoll.net . A polling signal is sent
to us and we send one back every 30secs or 30mins, less if requested. depending on what
alarm monitoring plan you choose. You can still have your normal phone
line connected as a backup communication pathway, just incase your ADSL
Router goes down.
Higher level of security?
A certain amount or signal polls between your alarm system and our
monitoring systems must occur, if this doesn't happen it will be "Red
Flagged" and treated as an alarm, because something is wrong with your
alarms communications.
Savings?
Making the ET-100 Backup Module your alarms primary communication
pathway, will save you heaps on alarm phone calls (arm/disarmings,
daily test reports etc....).
